Water Conservation Products Now Available

ZEBA Zeba is a biodegradable, non-toxic, odourless, corn starch based super-absorbant
product that promotes healthy lawns, landscapes and houseplants with
less watering.
Zeba helps homeowners establish new sod for beautiful, healthy lawns
and grow vigorous, attractive plants and shrubs.
The healthy microenvironment Zeba provides
holds water and nutrients near turf and plant
roots, delivering a consistent supply for fast establishment,
optimum growth and longer watering intervals.
Just a small amount of Zeba also helps houseplants
thrive with less frequent watering.
Zeba also:
- holds potting mix moisture longer in rapidly drying planter boxes
and containers
- encourages responsible use of chemicals by helping plants
use them more efficiently
- cuts watering frequency for indoor and outdoor pots and containers
- promotes fast turf and garden seed germination

Zeba helps establish turf and keep it healthy.
This is where Zeba can help by creating a healthy microenvironment
around the seed and in the turf root zone under new sod with necessary
moisture and nutrients. The result is faster establishment of healthy,
green turf. Other benefits include:

This product is useful for water conservation. We at the Canadian
EarthCare Society have done our own independent testing and have found
that the product helps to save a significant amount of water.
5-1-5 ORGANIC FERTILIZER
This organic fertilizer, 5-1-5, alfalfa based with mineral ingredients.
It does not contain any animal parts, synthetic pesticides or processed
human sludge. This organic fertilizer is well balanced to provide growth
without putting stress on the plants while giving needed nutrients
to your plants slowly so they can be stronger and healthier.
TEA BAGS
The tea bags are a combination of Zeba and Organic Fertilizer. They
are ideal for flowerpots and hanging baskets. These tea bags reduce
the frequency of watering and give nutrients slowly to the plants.
Horticultural Vinegar
The horticultural vinegar is naturally produced
from plants; it contains 20% acetic acid and plant-based surfactant.
It is excellent for cleaning greenhouse and hydroponics equipment and
can also be used to wash windows or to bring back the new look to interlocking
brick patios, driveways or stone landscaping. It is not a registered
pesticide and is not being sold as one but you can spray it on unwanted
plant species and will find that it’s very effective. This product
won’t harm earthworms or beneficial bacteria and fungi, nor will
it persist and buildup harmful soil residues. Apply on calm days and
in manner to prevent spray-drift from coming in contact with and harming
desirable vegetation.
Rain Barrels
A rain barrel is an alternate sustainable source
of water; it contains the rain from your roof to be used later. You
will be able to use the stored water for watering your garden or
your lawn. Washing your car with the water you collect from the barrel
is an example of one of many other outdoor uses. Remember to not
drink the water that comes out of the rain barrel.
