Okanagan National Park Meeting

The Canadian EarthCare Society is hosting a public information evening at the end of March regarding the proposed new National Park in the South Okanagan.

The evening information session is set for the Thursday, March 31 in the Lecture Theatre of the KLO campus from 7-9 p.m. Guest speaker for the evening will be Bob Lincoln, a former wildlife biologist of the provincial government’s Water Land and Air Protection ministry. He served for more than two decades and the Head of the Wildlife section.

This is your chance to learn about the proposed National Park and hear Lincoln’s presentation entitled, “South Okanagan – Silmilkameen: At the Cross Roads”. and participate in discussions about the National Park concept.

What will the National Park look like, how will it benefit or impact south Okanagan and central Okanagan residents. Find out more by attending this interesting evening. Admission is by donation.
